~ 1910s ~

January 30, 1910, the Rev. Luther D. Lazarus installed as second pastor.

Palm Sunday, 1910, the 35-member choir first wore vestments.

1912, Dr. Myron Luch taught the Men's Bible Class for 23 years until his sudden death in 1935. Dr. Luch was a member of church council, and a Lehigh University professor. In his later years of teaching, his class became known as the Men's Golden Rule with a membership of more than 100. Onetime member Jack Trotter had 25 years of perfect attendance in the Men's Golden Rule class. Ironically, Mr. Trotter was not a member of Holy Trinity, but rather a member of Westside Moravian Church.

1913, first church building demolished to make way for the new church, parish house and Sunday school building. In the interim, the congregation once again used the facilities of the West Side Moravian Church.

June 7, 1914, the parish house was dedicated and the congregation met there for church services.

November 7, 1915, new church building completed and dedicated. The 1887 cornerstone was persevered and built into the northwest corner of the 1915 Sunday school wing at a cost of $43,000 for the building, and $6,650 for a new three-manual pipe organ (approved April 20, 1913). Additional furnishings brought the cost to almost $62,000. For a congregation of 300 to 400 active members, this was a tremendous undertaking.
