September, 1983 , the Holy Trinity Lutheran School opened its doors by expanding the existing nursery school program to include an elementary school. The academic curriculum was state approved. The school grew to include five grade levels until 1989, when it moved to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

1984 , handbell choir formed.

1985 , tape ministry began providing cassette tapes of the 10:30 a.m. services for shut-ins.

1986 , fire alarm system installed throughout the church.

1987 , the superintendency of the Sunday School changed to be the responsibility of the Christian Education committee. Members that year included Charlene Klase, Sandra Beidler, Cheryl Wilson, Kathleen Sparrow, Sue Hunt, Norma Romberger, and Helen Ehrsam.

1988 , education building lower level painted and renovated.

1989 , relationship with Holy Trinity Lutheran School ended.

1990 , first computer purchased. Nave restoration committee formed.

1991 , old youth area renovated into the Gathering Place. Choir recognition Sunday celebrated June 9.

October 27, 1991 , the Rev. Nancy Schwabe-Fry and the Rev. Peter Schwabe-Fry installed as eighth pastors.
