~ Senior Choir & Music Program~
The music program has been an important part of the ministry of Holy Trinity through the years. The senior choir provides strong musical leadership with anthems and congregational singing. In recent years we organized the Holy Trinity Music Series, which has featured organists, pianists, singers, a classical trio, a harpist, and our bell choir. We are blessed with many musically talented members. The music program is a rich part of Holy Trinity’s heritage.

~ Handbell Choir ~
Our handbell choir began practicing in August of 1984 under the direction of Janet Muschlitz, who played in the handbell choir at Wittenberg University. After two months, in October, the choir played publicly for the first time for our congregation. We were received with great enthusiasm. A fund raising campaign began and we picked up our own two-octave set in February of 1985.
Our third octave was purchased less than one year later in December of 1985. During the ensuing years the choir’s repertoire grew and they progressed steadily in abilities. They began to play more often for our congregation and outside engagements at other churches, retirement communities, hospitals, and gatherings. In 1993, I assumed the role of Director for our handbell choir, and we continued to add additional bells and chimes finishing out a full five octaves of each in the fall of 1999. We have begun a recording process to produce a CD of music that journeys through the Liturgical year.
