Preparation for Worship … You are our eternal refuge, O God. Help us find our
spiritual rest in your abiding presence.
A warm welcome to all visitors this morning! We are delighted that
you are worshipping God with us. Please speak with the Pastor if you are
interested in joining the church family membership.
Individual receivers to assist in hearing the service are available on the
table in the rear of the Nave. Large-print hymnals are available to the rear of
the Chapel and Nave.
Nursery … Parents are welcome to take their children (age 5 and
under) to the nursery during the 10:30 AM worship hour. An attendant will watch
over the children while parents worship in the Nave. Ask one of the ushers or
greeters for directions to the nursery.
Invitation to Holy Communion (10:30
AM) … This
morning in our worship we will share the meal of Holy Communion. All baptized
Christians are welcome to receive this means of God’s grace and everyone is
invited to come forward to receive a blessing. If you choose not to
receive wine, simply hold out your hand for bread only. Wine alone is
available for those who do not want bread. Please follow the directions of the
ushers. Communion cards can be placed in the offering plate.
Church
attendance for Ash Wednesday,
February 6 – 33; February 10, 8:00 AM – 18; 10:30 AM – 94.
Altar Flowers … There will be no altar flowers during Lent to better
enable us to experience the penitential meaning of this season of the church
year.
Prayer Concerns … Martin Gearhart at St. Luke’s-Fountain Hill. Please
remember all the sick and shut-ins with your prayers and cards.
Pastor’s Study Hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM to 12 Noon. Please
call for an appointment to be sure Pastor Tom is available. Church office hours are Tuesday through
Friday, from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM.
Thursday Morning Prayer Time and Holy
Communion is held on Thursday
afternoons, 12 Noon to 12:30 PM in the All Saints Chapel. Our prayers for
neighbors, community, family, etc., need to be given to God. Please join us.
Mark Your Calendar: Truckload
Delivery … The West
Bethlehem Emergency Food Pantry is scheduled to accept delivery of a truck load
of food on Thursday, February 28, at 9:00
AM. Volunteers are needed to help unload the truck. The Pantry now has a
roller system to get the food into the basement, so the work is not as
strenuous as it once was. If you have the time and are able to help, please be
in the church parking lot by 9:00 AM on February 28th.
Did you know that you can pay your Kohl’s bill with Scrip Cards?
This way you can take advantage of all the Kohl’s incentives, and help to
contribute to Holy Trinity’s important fundraiser. Did you know Weis Cards come in denominations of $10 - $20 - $25
and $50? We have a card for everyone. Did
you know that Bon-Ton Community Day cards are again available? Community
Day is Saturday, March 1st. Please help us surpass our fall
fundraiser which brought in over $800.00. We can do it together: With a $5.00
donation you receive a $10.00 card! Volunteers are available before and after
worship on Sunday mornings to take your orders. If you have questions regarding
the program, please do not hesitate to contact Carol Ebeling
at 610.691.2922.

Easter Egg
Tree … The
Christian Education Committee is requesting your help with their Easter Service
Project: phone cards for the USO (they are given to American soldiers stationed
overseas) and the Jared Box Project which involves assembling activity boxes
for hospitalized children who are awaiting treatment for various ailments. See
your March newsletter for an in-depth explanation of this project. If you wish
to participate, take an egg from the tree, purchase the item(s) listed on the
egg, then return the items to church on or before
March 23 so our Sunday School children can assemble the activity boxes. The
phone cards will be delivered to a local chapter of USO.
Spaghetti Dinner … The Lutheran Academy is hosting an all-you-can eat
