sense the immeasurable joy that comes from being with you. Welcome to Worship ... It is our desire to be a warm and friendly
congregation. Please take the time to greet those around you and if they are
visitors, please make them feel welcome. If you are interested in becoming a
part of Holy Trinity’s church family, please speak with the Pastor regarding
membership. Individual receivers to assist in hearing the service are available on the
table in the rear of the Nave. Large-print hymnals are available at the rear of
the Chapel and Nave. Nursery (for children age 5 and under
– (10:30 AM) … Parents
are welcome to take their children to the nursery during worship where an
attendant will watch over them while parents worship in the Nave. Ask one of
the ushers or greeters for directions to the nursery. Invitation to Holy Communion (8:00
AM) … This
morning in our worship we will share the meal of Holy Communion. All baptized
Christians are welcome to receive this means of God’s grace and everyone is
invited to come forward to receive a blessing. If you choose not to
receive wine, do not take a cup from the tray. Wine alone is available
for those who do not want bread. Pre-filled glasses of grape juice are also
offered in each cup tray. Please follow the directions of the ushers. Communion
cards can be placed in the offering plate. Church attendance … January 3, 8:00 AM – 21; 10:30 AM – 49. Altar Flowers are in memory of Mr. & Mrs. George Miller, given
by the estate of Bernadine Helms. Prayer Concerns … Please remember all the sick and shut-ins with your
prayers and cards. Pastor’s Study Hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:30 AM-12 Noon. Please
call for an appointment to be sure Pastor Tom is available. Church office hours are Tuesday through
Friday, from 9:00 AM-2:00 PM. SCRIP Cards will continue to be available in 2010; please see
Carol Ebeling, Sandy Beidler, Kathy Attieh, or JoAnn Staller to make your
purchase. Annual Reports Due … All committees and organizations of HTLC are being
notified to have their reports submitted to the Church Office no
later than Sunday, January 17, for inclusion in the Annual Report of the
Congregation. Winter Picnic … Mark your calendar now and plan to attend the annual
Winter Picnic on Saturday, January 23, at 6:00 PM, in The Gathering Place (snow
date is Saturday, January 30). Bring a favorite picnic food (enough to share)
and enjoy the hot dogs provided by the Membership/Fellowship/Evangelism
